I am pleased to announce the eBook which presents the use of SAP NetWeaver BPM for Consumer Products companies based on actual customer projects. This eBook has been developed together with Thomas M. Ellenberg from Solution Management Consumer Products and Matthias Weber from Solution Marketing BPM.
The first use case highlights how Consumer Product companies can streamline the determination of promotional material demand by using SAP NetWeaver BPM. In fact this is the first process that the German bottler Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG (CCE AG) implemented with SAP NetWeaver BPM. If you are interested in further details then explore the Business Transformation Study of Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke. Additionally, be sure to also look out for the CCE AG use case which is featured in the upcoming BPM book “Applying Real World BPM in an SAP Environment”. It is written by Alexander Grobe , Manager Enterprise Architecture and Innovation at CCE AG and Gregor Müller, Business Development Manager at SAP. They share CCE AG’s BPM journey and provide great insights to help you in understand and articulate the value that BPM can have within SAP environments.
The second use case “streamlining the creation of master data e.g. customer, supplier and product master data” is also based on real customer projects. It is not limited to Consumer Products industry but is relevant to most industries and in fact is the most popular use case of SAP NetWeaver BPM. So why do many companies have issues related to master data quality? Many companies have either grown organically or have complex business operations e.g. operate in multiple geographies, work with international partners or offer a range of diverse products. This makes describing and maintaining enterprise information more complex. And most importantly, bad or poor quality master data can severely impact a company’s core business processes such as new product introduction, supply chain management and customer service delivery. Be sure to watch the Sapphire NOW videos and presentations where customers in CPG and other industries share their real world experiences with SAP NetWeaver BPM.
This CPG eBook concludes the series of 5 BPM in industries i.e. Retail, Utilities, Public Sector and High Tech. I hope that these eBooks provide you with the necessary motivation to start your BPM journey!
